Hi, I am having trouble with computerSpectrum.

You need to be more specific and show some code or exactly if it is PC or Mac. One possibility is that you have Flash10 features but some people have only Flash9 installed. Unless you have a script to update somebody's player, there won't be any error but your movie won't play either.
I am having trouble with macs. I am using flash player 10 and it's working on my end.
I'm not exactly sure of the specs on the computers that aren't working, but I do know that they are macs running snow leopard OS. The entire site seems to run on the other computers, except for the equalizer on the audio player.
I just check on flash player 9 and the equalizer works there, so I guess that's not the problem.
I have a mac and I have leopard, since I have not yet upgraded. Do you have a url?
Thanks for checking - yes, it was the little thing in the right corner and the orange progress bar.
Those aren't working on all computers.
It's driving me crazy!!
If it is the little thing in the right lower corner, it worked on my mac on Safari and Firefox.
Just edited my post above. Thanks for your help. Can you let me know what OS you checked on? The progress bar and the equalizer weren't moving on the other computers.
OS 10.5.8 and the progress bar also works.
This is really weird. I have someone checking on OSX 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard) and Safari 4.0.4 and it's not working on their end.
But....I am using the same OS and Safari version and it does work.
someone figured something out for me. If there are 2 browser windows both playing audio, then the equalizer won't work.
Not on my computer. I tested your site with Safari and FF playing audios and two FF windows simultaneously open and there are no problems.
can you try 2 safari windows with audio? i think it's a safari issue? thanks again!
i think it needs to be 2 safari windows playing flash audio
No problem with two Safari windows open with your audio player and playing audios from that. The progress bar as well as the spectrum are working in both windows.
You can test this compute spectrum on the sites:

can you try one more thing?
my file and this one - both in safari?
thanks for that site!! I didn't know that!!
Only the progress bar shows up but not the spectrum. When I click it off the spectrum shows. I have no idea what is the reason for that but seems interesting.
I don't know the problem either, but it is a weird one!
Thanks for running through this with me.
I really appreciate it!
It will probably one of those unique threads people go when they have a similar problem. :)
Do you know anything about the difference of both players?
