yeah i was on it yesterday. great experimental site. i love their new navigation. it's still the same concept but added a new dynamic to it. great!
good link.
:)
yeah I really didn't like the old look of it.. it's really nice now though.. :)
and everybody loves doing these clocks now, huh? :D
i may be out on a limb here but i reckon it works better than the new praystation design...
well....their navigation really hasn't changed much. deconcept's i mean. it's the same concept but activated a little differently. i like that about it. how it appears and disappears. better than the new praystation? well, i think they both have their strengths and weaknesses. i'm not sure if it's temporary but have you seen some of the changes with the navigation? i think it will be relaunched again in february.Quote:

check it out. http://www.praystation.com/

I guess he decided not to go with the long vertical version? Maybe it's not as effective for frequent updates as the standard size always was.. Still, I wonder why he got rid of it though?? Maybe it was just supposed to be "the big 2001 page" and nothing more.. :(
The new calendar comes off as more k.i.s.s. to me. Anybody else feel that too?
Like the update, much more sophisticated than the last, some great experiments, personally I would prefer if the navigation didn't disapear if not used, since the space is free anyhow, but apart from that great stuff

thanks for the comments all...
nevil: the reasoning for the nav to hide was that i thought it distracted from the experiments... i was really going for a site where i could post an experiment by itself, and have it blend... something that i failed to do with the last design... i hated the small window that scrolled, and always having the big white bar down the site where the navigation was...
the color changing is something that goes with that as well, so you just get the experiment...
i also wanted to make it really simple to navigate... as it is, you can see any experiment with 2 clicks... and that was important too... i'm a big believer in keeping thing as simple as possible.
:) thanks again for the comments
Wow, excellent stuff to learn from !!!!!
