How do I use downloaded fonts for text effects?

I downloaded True Type fonts that I would like to use, but never having done this before, I find now I am at a loss on how to use them?

You can open the _Movie file. Not the .Movie file. It will open it up as a time line. It may allow you to export it that way, so at least you have it on...
