I agree, on most of my projects, the time spent in meetings, discussions, site visits, etc. with the clients is the hardest to estimate and can cost the most time-wise. In my proposals, in addition...

More than a few grand in USD, but like other have pointed out there are more than a few factors in pricing.

Aww, heck no! Longint is around for a reason!

Exactly! Has anyone gone through the bug thread to see if there are any dupes? What a nightmare to even think about!
With bug reports, the threads would fall down through the posting order as...

It was interesting to see the majority (so far) of the negative comments revolved around the registration process & the restriction on defrag software.

That goes back to my original point. With a topic that is 23 page long, who wants to jump to the last post, when your answer is on page 16?
As for searching, forget it. You now got v1.x, beta,...

I'm not sure about this. That huge massive ">>>> PLEASE REPORT SWiSH 2.0 BUGS HERE (nowhere else)" is unreadable. It's what, 23 pages long now? If someone reported a bug on page 11 or so, who...

Why doesn't he think so? The only tricky part I could see would be the reveal on the line drawing of the circle.

Very true! If the scope of changes from v1 - > v2 don' qualify for a forking of the forums, I'm not sure there will ever be a good enough reason (unless it's just arbitrary).

Actually, I do. I see a general help, flash 5 general help, flash 4 actionscript, and flash 5 actionscript. I would guess there's going to be a flash 6 general help and a flash 6 actionscript.

I see what you're saying, but it wouldn't be empty, just lightly used. There would still be over 70k of useful messages. Other boards I've visited have depreceated forums as newer version come...

Let's see, there is a Flash 5.0 Actionscript forum, a Flash 4.0 Actionscript forum, a Newbies forum and a General Help forum.
There's also a Swish forum which handles 1.x, 2.0, beta testing, site...

We have our sites/customers spread between 2 providers, so if the first gets clogged or starts to look expensive, I'll switch to the backup provider, which has another block of bandwidth available.

I'm going to be watching the webtrends logs tomorrow! 8-) I have a base 20GB w/10GB blocks@$30, this should be interesting...

Very true. I wonder what went wild and grabbed all those resources. The strange thing was that I had been rebooting a few times tonight with installs and testing so I didn't even stop to think...

Bingo, I took it back out, rebooted and I was still around 50%, but still way above ~22%!

When using SWiSH 2.0, it would refuse to complete loading every once in a while, due to resource problems. Since my GDI was around 75%, that seemed ok. My USER resources were around 22% though. To...

1 minute 50 secs to see everything. The header comes up after a minute.
I'm getting good pings to your server, but it appears to be slow in delivering the content.
