It is not supported with IE on a Macintosh, that is why it doesn't work. But Flash 5 has a numeric random generator built in.

Check to see what version the PC was using, if it was 5, and the Mac version is 4, it will not work.

Another funky work around is to setup a Hotline server on one of the machines, with a client on the other, and upload and download the files from each other. From my experience, this is often faster...
