figured it out....here's what i did:

added a transparent bounding box around text i wanted to print (in frames labeled #p) and labeled the shape as -- #b -- .

then used this to print from...

i have used the print function in the past with no problem but this one has me stumped.

then i have two frames labeled with #P. both...

i have had success using wildform flix pro with koolmoves. it will export using high quality .flv format and create an .swf that you may then import as an object into koolmoves.
