simple trick i use that im sure works some of the time is naming it something weird


Say i have a web site named "index.html" the .swf file automaticly is named "index.swf" so all i do is rename...

From this end it looks fine. The princess dosnt look jagged at all...

I was wondering today, for people both who have display settings at 1024 x 768 pixels and 800 x 600 pixels (the most common ones) What is the best hight and width to set your movies at?

if you are just trying to loop the movie, dont add a stop action at the end.

Or you can put a "go to frame" action at the end of the movie. And set the frame to 1 or 0.

Ok there are two ways of doing this

Try this one first, see if it does the trick you need it to.

right click on the shape or text you want to be a button, go down to "convert" then to button....

Looking at your site the only thing i can see that could cause lag for some 56k users is the thunderbolt graphics. But even with that it should not take 6 minutes.

1. Sound - I think sounds can make or break a web site. If you use them right it can make for a spectacular site. But they are very space...

To tell you the truth i cannot find what a .dcr file is. But i can tell you it will not work with swish. :( sorry. Im sure frets can give you a lot more information on it that i can.
