you can`t use your 3d meshes in flash unless you code a 3d engine and a 3d file parser yourself in flash.
I suggest you look into "Papervision" or "Sandy" which are opensource flash 3d engines....

what exactly is hard to animate in c4d? i really cant think of anything you could`nt achieve in c4d, and compared to the industry giants like maya,
3dmax and xsi it`s the easiest to learn imho.

glueit works fine for me, it supports png and bmp, doesnt have that many options, but does the trick for me. requires .NET 2.0

o.k., do i understand you right? you have a 1000 diffrent behaviours when on one of these tiles? why would you want to declare a 1000 diffrent prototypes,when there is usually just wall or not,slope...

why don`t you make a grid, if you dont allready have one, assuming units cannot stand on the same cell and then just give them the depth of the cell id .

I agree with render, some flapping of the ears would be hilarious, although i like the tension of the ears, kinda like dumbo meats...
