When nobody should give tips what's the aim of this thread? To state all are evil? Well, at least they are ;)
P.S. Hasn't there been a similar thread a short time ago which also deals whith...

A really cool game. However in Level 2 I found an error, when you place the cube at the left side it often bounces in an endless loop on the left light. You get points and points, but you can't...

looks very nice!
22-23 frames on 2.6 GHz, Opera 7, 1 GB RAM
It would be nice if the player can also change the angle of the canon and fire. Aslo the slowdown during a jump is too heavy this...

Well, this must be how is was in old Babylon... everybody speaks a different language. Is that the reason why they killed each other? I've no idea, but: DON'T let us repeat history ;)

A very nice looking game. It's fun to play, but it get's boring to fast. Especially in the single player mode.

Nice game, but I would improve the control. Did I say that I hate to read instructions to play games ;)

I've read about a new mini retro console which should come up in July / August in europe. It's build in the design of the famouse C64 competion pro joysticks and includes 30 games. Unfortunately I...

Yes, it is better to use Studio Max, there's no need to use swift.

If you want to use them as pseudo real 3D characters you have to prerender them from different views. Within the game you choose the matching view for the scenery / movement and you can create an...

I think deep-linking is esseintial to the culture of internet, otherwise google, yahoo etc. won't exist and the internet never have reached the status it has.
Sure it's annoying that it steals...

I prefer Jugglor since it works with projectors and is the only tool, as far as I know, which can do that. Using the Flash OCX makes a game at least 20% slower as if it runs in a projector....

Very nice game. Easy to play, you know how to play it within seconds and makes fun. Great work! :)

Hi,
I wonder if anyone is listening to old games music live we are doing here in the company. I love this old songs since they remind me of the time when I started programming and fun developing...

Nice engine! I would definately use a momentum. This way the "space" feeling is more emphasised and it feels more interesting to play. The fps is around 20-21 and uses about 10% of CPU resource on my...

I can only agree to tom. Doing a "real" 3D game in Flash is hard to do and the visual results will look very outdated compared current 3D games, even to thos made done in Director. If you want to try...

yep, it's offline for a short time since it appeared somewhere as a full game. Sorry for the unconvenience ;)

I don't know a lucrative way if not to do contract work for a big customer or do convert a proven successful game to mobile devices.
Especially the first case can be paid very well, but it's also...

I made the switch from assembler to C/C++ and then to Flash. I think Flash is pretty neat for smaller games and I agree to Squize, everyone on the board can do the best flash game ever if he has what...

There might be several reasons:
1. Flash is easy to learn and you can start right away
2. Flash is perfect to get good results in very fast
3. You can create impressive (flash) games within...

ok, things seem to get mixed up ;)
The thing I plan is:
a) have an encrypted set of important functions on the server
b) decrypt them with a dynamically generated key in flash
c) use the...

I tried a few things and one of the most promising things is to use a combination of flash and javascript. Since the eval() function in javascript is much more powerful than the subset of eval used...

@Squize
Well, for varible renaming I would suggest something like ASO. I does a good job as long as Flash 5 is used.
The approach I take is to decode the functions at runtime. Which means until...

I tried another approach which does not try to fool decompilers but goes another way.
How about this:
Define all the functions in a seperate file. Encode the file with an MD5-key. The SWF loads...

I have to agree, the yum-sound makes me search for the "tun-off" button of my speakers. It's fun to play, but I think the blue fly and the hooked fly look too similar. I would change this at first....
