keypresses are used for keyboard control presses, not an actually button, just in case you dsont realize (i think you do)
The frames on a button are sort of a special frame, and tell the button...

tag this again. The issue is that when reducing the amount of ammo space, it works, but will also show up a really funky number before it gets to 0, meaning, i'll be at like .2 or .4, and all of a...

ok, first of all, to work with the movies, you need Macromedia Flash (not the player). Second of all, while it's possible to learn from tutes, i find i do best just sort of by experimentation,...

Bernz, what Roxio are you using thats a complete video editing suite? I remember the last version i had, i think it allowed you to do some rough slpices (butting 1 movie clip onto another), but i...

Easy CD/DVD creator, or NERO. For video burning, i prefer Easy CD/DVD, i think it's more intuitive, unfortunately,t he last time i installed it, it gave my system the ****s,so i switched to NERO, but...

Dear lord thats a lot of extra work for what he's trying to do, seriously, outputting as a .mov and then burning it with like CD/DVD creator or NERO is the easiest way to go. If his final...

umm, this is going to be an odd suggestion, and might be beyond the scope of "newbies", but is it possible that you can detect what OS is being used, and load a mac version, and a version for...

when you're at your PC, are you reading them from your HD, or off of the site?
EDIT: I just looked at it on my PC, and they seem to be fairly well timed IMO.

they shouldnt, no. You're actually set at a film rate for frames per second. However, consider that an animation going through 5 frames, you're essentially sending the animation front to end in under...

you can make a .mov out of the .fla, and then burn that as a video. You (obviously) won't have any control of it, as far as links or buttons would go, so it would have to be more of an animated...

sure it's at www.geocities.com/daherm3610/vehicle.fla
Unfortunately, because it's geocities, i have a low per hour bandwidth limit, so if you can't get it right away, come back the next hour :)

got that, it's stated early on in the program. Otherwise, it would report as NaN, i think.

and i THINK judging by the screenies, that it is an odler version of Flash thats being used in the tutorial. It doesnt seem like my boxes and icons and what not are that...squarish.
-
Chances are it's a bandwidth issue. You're best bet would be to use a preloader to make sure the whole movie is ready to play from the get-go.
It could also be an issue of whatever you're using...

can you post your FLA? a couple of guesses, is that you did an "insert keyframe" instead of "insert blank keyframe"

bump to see if anyone has any ideas on this yet. I know it's a minor problem, but still, because it's possible to actually stop the funcky numbers, i'd like to have it fixed. Could it be a timing...

A few points that may or may not be of help.
You may want to put a stop() action at the end of every segment, and then let the buttons lead the user to the NEXT section. This prevents the person...
