Usually, I only track 4 or 5 modules, but my current project is a bit of a mess and has 114 assets that need to be tracked and bookmarked.
That function looks like it should work perfect for me on...

Yeah, that's the same issue I was having. If I use unique characters, it works fine, I'd just prefer not to do that. I'm sending this string to an LMS to track bookmark in a WBT course. Each...

Can't seem to figure this one out. I just need to replace a character in the middle of a string with a different character. Here is what I have:
var myString:String = "00000";
myString =...

I used to be able to use the following in AS2 to retrieve the student name from my LMS and store it into a variable named stuname in Flash:
fscommand("LMSGetValue",...

This is pretty cool. I'm going to make one and try it out on my next scuba trip.

That was the article I was reading...not a big Will Smith fan. Story sounded cool though, so I figured I'd go for the book instead of the movie.

It's for sale on a stock site...very rarely do I get notified of how my images are used...but every once in a while I stumble onto one myself.
This one made my day.

So I was reading an article today about an upcoming movie based on Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend". Was reading about Matheson, and decided I wanted to read some of his books. Went to Amazon and...

I'm using Alien Bees, and I absolutely love them. I have 3 of the B800 units, lightstands, boom arm, giant (30x60") softbox, medium (35") octabox, snoot, barn doors, honeycomb grids, color filter...

Had this one floating around in my head for a while - finally got around to it last night:

It's a mirror lens...sometimes they can be good under certain situations. Will give you some crazy donut shaped bokeh as well, which could be good or bad depending on how you use it.

I would believe it in the sense that every 1.5 years your digital camera will become obsolete, but not neccessarily broken. To keep up with the latest and greatest technology, buying a new camera...

Completely disagree. The plugin version kept much more detail and didn't add nearly as much noise to the full size image.
I don't think anybody is arguing that this can be done manually in...

Absolutely...this was the modified version of that same photo that I put up on my website three years ago:

Looks pretty cool - I just bought and downloaded it. Always loved the velvia look.
My first quick attempt:

I'm still using the EOS D60...the 10D didn't seem like it was worth the money to upgrade, nor did the 20D, and I still don't feel like the 30D is that much better. I'm just going to keep saving up...

If you use Velvia, you will probably need to pick up some magenta color compensating filters as well, as Velvia will shift to green during long exposures.

I agree the grip is a must have...well worth the money.

Also, if you can hold out just a couple more weeks (I know, easier said than done)...The PMA Show is going to be held on Feb 26th. There are a lot of rumors that Canon is going to announce the...

Take a look at the Canon TC-80N3 remote as well. It's about $100 more than the RS-80N3, but I definitely think it is worth the extra money. It has a timer built into the remote switch, so if you...

Not trying to be a smartass or anything, but I think that $35 strap is probably more than what the Olympus OM101 is selling for now on eBay. Any reason why you couldn't just upgrade the body itself...

I have this one...three exposures combined in Photoshop:
