On the click of a button the pop-up is opened and the problem Im facing is that how should I make the screen behind it DISABLED.

I have thought of calling a invisble button it doesnt...

Import it in Jpeg and then change image quality in the publish settings... then you can keep on testing as to the kind of compression you like and is satisfactory to image quality...

I agree...but there are ppl who have use thier own fonts and make it look more crisp. But yes hopefully things will be better.

It is an endless debate...but yes you should go with flash 5 but just publish in flash 4...so you will learn dot notation programming and at the same time you will learn the interface. SO UPGRADE...

It is a bug or whatever but this problem should hopefully be fixed in flash 6 or you can embed some good fonts made by ppl for a more crispy feel.

Sorry you cant do it...as your movie gets refreshed...you might want to hard code it... or use a javascript method which would call your flashmovie and tell the button which has to be in a movie clip...

You need to look at javascript methods for that. what is going to happen is that your movie will call an embeded javascript function and that in turn will call the other flash movie which is embeded....

YOu can always export that part of the image in to a jpg or why not take a screens shot and cut the parts you dont want!!!
