i export a 86k pic as png and import into flash... use loose gif/png option and the file size is bigger than...

how do you make the fuzzy tv screen effect? like when your cable goes out and all you see is black and white squares?

hello forum.... i recently purchased a new 17"monitor and while viewing my movie i noticed it wasn't centered. So i added <center> tags to the table and voila.... its centered... but not up and down...

when the level loaded, set any variable you want to true, and then add a stop.

then check to see if the variable is true.

if "yourName" variable is returned true play
if variable not true...

not if the frame is blank

as soon as your first movie begins, start a load movie action into a higher level--lets say level1-- you see it anyways.

while your mainmovie is playing the next movie you need is loading in level...

if i was to do something like that I'd put that button in frame 1 and then the entire system in frame2 and on. put a stop in frame 1 and on the button put onPress gotoandPlay(2)..

well... think about it... you made a site for 1024 res and you test it on 800! So you just shrunk the text by 20% .... of course its going to be blurry.

The best thing to do is make 2 seperate...

do a search for image scroller in the tutz section or movies.. you will find everything in there... its impossible to explain it in one thread anyways

so you found someones fla in the tutz section and you want to use it on your site? just find the buttons... click on them...... choose actions... then click on the line that has getURL...... change...

you can copy and paste the same animation on a different layer... and then just change the text


if you wanna know how to blurr text... just blurr it in photoshop or fireworks and import the...

40 does seem like alot.. i would take every other one and shrink the size to 20.. than speed up the fps to make it run smooth...

photoshop Q... export as .pngs the size of each will be huge but...

well... what exactly are you trying to do? if your asking if flash has capability to have trransparent background? I don't think it can. use frames.... much easier

when you create the button but it on the maintimeline. The up/down/ editor you like to call will only change the buttons appearance in those button states. with the button on the maintimeline.........

this causes less problems.. or even in the first frame of mc put the goto frame 8

if your preloader is preloading the entire swf ie; gettotalbytes.. then it won't play until its all loaded up.

what you really wanna do is only preload all the stuff that are above the redline in...
