ok - i was wrong on that too. It appears that is distorts when you have more than one frame in the movie.

o - I also found that the image only gets distorted in Flash MX 2004 and not in earlier versions.

well, my solution was not good. It makes the file size HUGE!! Still trying to find a solution...

ok - I am not sure how I figured this out but I did!! In order to make it so rotated images are not distorted you will have to do this...

1.) select the image that's rotated
2.) go to moidify >...

I didn't resize it and I tried your method but I still get distorted images. Looks as though this might be a gliche in Flash. This sucks!! what a pain!!
