instead of what works now

i have a music button that uses actionscript to attach a sound and fade it in and out. it works perfectly when played as single swf but as soon as it's loaded to a level of another movie it doesn't...

i use mx on win 98se. when having a dynamic text field (html enabled) that loads its text from a variable in an external text file everything is fine unless that text contains german umlauts...
