Jeez, why did you bother answering? First you say it's easy,easy,easy now suddenly it's not very easy.
Make up your mind already. Too cool to help people on a help forum??

Hi Alberto,
How did you customise the text size in the chatbox (and all the other components for that matter)?
I've been battling with this for 2 days now and no luck :( (customising the...

Shouldn't really be posting this here, but this guy is illegally selling stuff he stole from Swishzone (templates), DesignsXchange, Swish-db and several well-known Swishers like Jer.

Streaming SWFs are great, but they're not very good on dialup lines.
Another solution is to make the sound a separate swf and then load that into the main movie when/if required by the user.
-
Bear in mind that pixelfonts that use 8pt as a size aren't necessarily the same size as 'normal' 8pt fonts, they could be bigger or smaller.
-
Swish V2 can only do that using a Flash plugin swf. You can download one from designsXchange.com.

Are you using V2 or Swishmax?

To ensure your viewer has FP6 installed, check that your html code has the following parameter:
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"

No it's not possible in Swish to have the urls as externally changeable links.
You could link to a page that has a redirect and then the client can change that redirect in the html, but that would...

With bigger music files it's always best to keep them as separate SWFs (streaming or non-streaming) and then load them into a higher level or into a sprite when user-requested.
Your objective in...

The beauty of this particular script is that you don't get the annoying windows nag-popup.
-
You could convert the effects to sprites and use them inside a button, but your option of putting an invisible box over the area and using that for a link is much easier.
-
It's probably easiest to learn from examples - you can download several Swish menus and complete websites (obviously containing menus) for free here:...

hehehe, you can send us a few passwords Dale :P

Hiya Dale, long time no speak :)
There's a few mouse follower tuts on DXC, here's a link to one. It's horizontal, but the actions are the same. Look around while you're there if it's not what you...

This DesignsXchange tutorial could be handy in doing something like that with Swishmax:

A Google search on 'spinning ball gif' returned about 10,000 results - one of them must be something you can use :)
-
The LOADER you talk about can just be a normal preloader in the external movie being loaded. It isn't a separate thing that loads the eternal movie.
-
Ensure that you use the exact name of the container frame in the TARGET.
-
In the html page change the BODY tag so that it includes these parameters:
topmargin="0" leftmargin="0"

There is also a lot of Swishmax tutorials and downloads at http://www.designsxchange.com (which is my forum), made by Swish legend Willem. Registration is required and free.
