Very impressive. Thanks for sharing.

So you're an ignorant cheapskate going behind your buddies' backs? Nothing much going for you then...

What you need is something like this:

Exactly how the software expects the image format to be, well, that is something for you to decide. If the...

Great. It's kind of a lame workaround, but if it does the job...!

I'm still using Flash 8 (!), so this is my idea of a workaround. I'd strip all extraneous stuff from the animation, and save it as manWalking.fla or whatever. Then I'd import that file as the basis...

It's REALLY annoying not being able to turn the background music off -- or even turn it down. The visuals looked competent and all, but after about 5 seconds I went somewhere else.

What's crap is asking a question, then not responding for more than two weeks. How to get better? Well, a sense of urgency would help.

What is your question? What (or who) is "the flash animator"?
-
-
What do you want from your animation?

There are probably other names, but I know this as cutout (or cut-out) animation.

..."our software"? So, this is just spam, after all? Should've known, I suppose.

Whoa -- there's a big jump between those two questions! Like any trick, morphing has impact only when it has a meaningful context. Find a good reason to use an effect, and you've got an audience...

If you are a programmer (or know someone who is) then you could use an Xor function on the text to reverse it out compared to the background.

This is a question with about a thousand answers. Here's one -- don't produce 30 minute long animations in ANY animation software. Produce short scenes, export them in .png sequences, and assemble...

So...this has nothing whatsoever to do with Art, Animation, or Illustration. Or even Flash. And you want people to broadcast their secrets to potentially millions of people. Anonymity will be...

Redraw it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but if you fade a grouped collection of individual elements, that's what they'll look like.

You seem to be asking for a tutorial in something both realistic and animated. Why would you want to spend a lot of time drawing realistic smoke? Anyway, here are a couple of traditionally drawn...
-
It's an impressive amount of work in a short time. One comment: for a convincing "rushing wind" effect, you need more than two or three frames of movement -- otherwise (for example) it just looks...
-
How realistically do you want your character to move? If the answer is "totally", there is plenty of reference material on the web for people jumping over stuff. If you want more emphasis on good...

This looks a little like a Lightwave export option. Check it out -- but it will be a tall order to get a lot of drawings done with unfamiliar software in a short time. I've been there -- it's...

I would use Anime Studio for this. Has quite an intuitive bones system, and the latest version has some physics implementation. Distributed by Smith Micro.

I'm not sure I completely understand the problem, but I would look at layers first. If the calling layer is at the top of the hierarchy in the MC, the external swf should show on top.

Take a look at this Flashkit tutorial
