You are just making excuses for bad design. It is a joke to think that print and digital design are so different. Good design is good design. Futuristic can be good. Anything can be good if done well...

It's not a question of being original it's about having the pride to put something of yourself into your work.

Have you considered chrome effect buttons? Maybe when you move the mouse over them they could appear to have light sweep across them.

I've tried to get it to preload 40%. I'm not that confident in flash though. Has it worked? Does it load any quicker now? I can't tell as I'm having a few problems with my connection right now.
