    graphical bug . . .

    1) Create an Ellipse
    2) Add Anchors at random around the ellipse
    3) Drag a couple of those anchors in towards the center of the ellipse
    4) Select the Rotate Tool and rotate it a little bit
    5) Create a Motion Path
    6) Drag the Ellipse around the screen

The Red "Anchor" points seem to go all over the place (they stay on the screen in various places as you drag the object around) . . .

The problem above doesn't necessarily effect the "playing" of the movie or scene - but can make an awful mess of things while creating the movie . . .

Also, a few times it drew a line across the scene which didn't go away while playing ( a straight thin line across 3/4 of the scene) . . . However, I can't seem to reproduce that bug . . . But, it was the exact same process as the one above . . . but, the second bug only happened once out of ten tries . . . I'll keep trying to get it to screw up - but hopefully it won't . . .

    I'll keep lookin'

This feature is REALLY FABULOUS, works great for orbs etc. but when using it on a ball bouncing...well let's say it has an "outta this world" feel. :=)

Since those text objects of different scenes are at the same depth and SWF only allows one object to be defined at any given depth, you have to hide the text before it jumps to the other scene.

Just waiting for Hung-Hsin to fix something...

    Cheers, David.
The behavior of background color setting is changed. The scene's background is on the top of movie's background. If the scene background is 100% transparent(default), the movie background color is used. If the scene's background is 100% opaque, the scene's background color is used.

I was using the Scene tab, and you were using the Movie tab.
If you use the Scene tab it will work fine, but I'll fix it anyway.

    Cheers, David.
Maybe you should make the movie tabs background to make all the scenes that color and the scenes tab to change them individually.
BRILLIANT SUGGESTION ... I agree ... this makes the most sense !!!

    Tnx.

    (HH) ...

    1. I drew a simple short horizontal line (default width)

    2. I tried 6 or 7 times to select the line with the selection tool ...
    nada, zip squat.

    3. Finally, it selected. Repeated the process ... same problems ...
it appears the sensitivity (or something) to select needs tweaking

    4. The "Snake" effect (or any effects below the separator bar) are
grayed-out ... does this mean they are NOT available for lines,
    images, etc. ???

    Tnx.

Yea the lines are hard to select, sometimes you have to select it in the outline or timeline to select. My biggest problem with lines though is trying to lengthen them if you mouse over the end of the line it gives a diagonal arrow and then doesnt make any change to the line when dragging.

Since complex effects can only be applied to grouped objects, you have to group the objects first.

    Can't send .swi . . .

    Mr. Chang . . .

I apologize but I can't send you a .swi file, because as I tried to explain - the problem isn't in the "playback" of the scene or movie - it's only during the creation of the movie . . . Will someone else try this and see if they get the same outcome . . .

Here is a ScreenShot of the problem as I describe it
    http://www.purifiedproductions.com/Images/mess1.jpg

    Simple :
    1) Create an Ellipse
    2) Select the rotate tool
    3) Grab an anchor on the corner of the ellipse and rotate it as much as you'd like
    4) Grab the center of the ellipse and drag it all over the screen . . .

The image is exactly how it appears every time I try it . .

It works fine unless I use the rotate tool . . . Without using the rotate tool - I can drag it all over the screen and nothing will happen . . .

After you deselect the image - the screen returns to normal.
Like I said, it doesn't effect the playback - or anything after you deselect the ellipse - but it makes an awful mess of the screen as I try to move it around.

Thanks - and if it's just my computer - then I apologize for the mix up . . .

But, look at the image at the link above - and you'll see what I mean . . .

    Too Funny !!!

But, apparently - it doesn't happen for you as well ?

It doesn't do it when I create a rectangle - and it leaves one or two small trails (actually one of two dots) when I create a Belzier shape and rotate it - then drag it around the screen . . .
But with an Ellipse - it's as bad as the image shows - every time I try it . . . So - I don't see the problem - if it is my Video Card or something - I would assume it would do it all the time with every shape - but, it's only with an ellipse . . .

sorry for the pointless posts then

    Thanks

You can still send me the swi with the rotated ellipse, so i can easily reproduce the problem by dragging it.

    Gradients keep resetting

    Great work!

Gradients keep resetting themselves to their default position and angle after clicking OK in their properties window and after deselecting the object. Also negative numbers aren't allowed in the property window's rotation value.

Ok! I've made it easier to select an object with very small width.

    Hi Hung-Hsin,
When you try to select a different Alpha value, the mouse almost always rolls over another color so you either have to reset the color or choose the color menu on the top right of the panel to change the Alpha value without changing the color. If the R G B and Alpha input boxes were moved below the palette (just above or below the MRU indicator) , this would probably not happen. Guess this is a Swish wish, sorry, you must be going crazy with all these bug reports...but if you had "louder" shirts, maybe you would be in the US with David and Roger. :=)
    Thanks
    Dawn
BTW: Great work with all the fixes!
