    ok well, napster is to probably be shut down soon, but there are many other programs just like napster. Gnotella is a very cool program, like napster, except you can download anything... and i mean anything. I downloaded the full version of many programs, but is it really fair. hmmm..

    yes, but the commited users are few. I hope everyone who used to be on cable and on napster has the brains(hence the $ for cable) to goto gnutella. Napster was REALLY popular.

    AIM needs a pluggin to let you search for songs. THAT would work!!!

    Ah but hang on guys - technically the swapping of MP3s like the ones that we all do - is technically illegal.
    Not that im telling you not to do it - cause i do all the time. But Id just be careful!

    Gnutella for Mac: LIMEWIRE (Java based)

    But don't change illegal tools with other peoples! Hehe

    It's good to search soundsamples/loops for sites/games etc.

    ya, we need more ppl to download gnotella (or however its spelled). It would be really cool if it had as many users as napster, i hope it will.

    gnutella is sooo hard to configure and use. That was the genius of Napster, any one could use it and find what they need.

    I have tried gnutella, flycode, and others and NONE are as good as napster. Maybe something will come up and CNN will do a story on it. Then everyone will download it and will become as popular as Napster.

    Until then, we have to go out and buy the CD's.

    Where do you download gnutella anyway?
    I've tried http://www.gnutella.com but it's just a white page with the text "It's all ok".
