Ok, things have been a little slow. More than a little slow on the Art/Anime board today.

I'd like to make it more interesting.. introducing the picture exchange!

If you've got a scribble that you've been meaning to put on the board, or are particularly proud of, post it in this thread!

Then all the people I know have been refreshing the board all day (Well, I have) have something to do..

I really want to know what everyone is drawing at the moment. Dont be shy!

I guess I should start with my own.. hmm. Well, I'm halfway something I call 'thelegs', I cant seem to get the top half right.. her legs are the only thing I'm proud of!

If asked, I'll give the fla, so you can have a go..

Comments, and your own stuff please!

Here's my diggin' Jakob, from my website. Feel free to use it to let people know that your site is Nielsenally-incorrect, using Flash, CSS, images, and anything else that might make using the web a fun and enjoyable experience.

This could be interesting - I'll try to post an animation I've been working on, if people are interested.

Let's keep it personal scribbles. New work would be nice. Even if it's created just for this thread.

BTW - nice legs. I really like the highlights. And I love the new footer.

    Re: Huayz

Hmm, I dunno.. I wouldnt use fireworks personally.. The company I did work experience for used it to draw out websites before they coded them. Flash has 30 day trial versions... if you're at school/work try nagging them for it (Educational establishments such as one near us sell Flash5 licenses for £32 pounds!)

Also, Illustrator has trials.. freehand.. etc.
You might try, if you save up money for a while, and you are a student. getting the Students version of Flsh off amazon.. you can get Dreamweaver, Flash, and fireworks (the newest version) for £119.

Ah! And theres always paintshop pro if you're desperate.

Art always seems to come down to money, hmm? :\

If you've scanned them in, huayz, I'd quite like to se the original pics.

Arg! What a long post.. and only halfway through...

    Re: CNO

Oooh! I now have this pic saved to my HD in my flashsite folder.. I might even vectorise it, and see if we can give the old guy a heart attack.
(No, thats Jackob, not you, fogey )

Hurrah! Would love to see said animation.

And thank-yee. Oh! I wonder if people are more 'I'm really glad you got rid of the old one..

Pah, this post is far too long. End the madness now.

    .

Here's a little something I'm working on for an audio project. All done with Wacom in Flash - straight ahead narrative. There's much more to be done - final animation will be 60-90 sec.

There's no preloader, so if it seems choppy at first, it should be fine the second time it runs (it loops).

Okay, here's one I was working on earlier, and utilises the standard 9 mouth shapes. I'll be adding some more voices very soon, and maybe making a prettier interface.

It's very much a work in progress, but I thought it was fun..

[envious tones]CNO - I love the bar scene man, though I'm green with envy at your wacom..!! :envy: :jealousy: [/envious tones]

It starts with learning some basic art skills such as line art drawing, figure drawing (using a stick figure, fleshed out with circles/cones ect, then detailed and rendered), perspective drawing, story boarding and finally vector drawing.

    practice, practice, practice...

    Hey everyone!

I meant to reply a few days ago.. but I had a power cut. Meh.

Anyways, comments in order of reply:

CNO.. I love that bar scene.. the way it looks like a flip book.. too cool! Be very cool to get regular updates too..

    Thundachunkeee..
I believe you have my comments on an already too long thread in the CL...

    Horvath.. its very.. shiney.

Gomar.. Oooh! I really liked it. Its nice how you've taken all the fades of postcards behind it, and the writing thats really nice. Also.. interesting pose.

Mmkhan .. It sounds good, but I cant access your URL. Your host doesnt allow remote links, apparently. Be proud of your BT internet address! I am!

(incidently, is anyone else finding that BT no longer disconnect every two hours? Hurrah!)

Urk, I dont have anything I drew.. except a duh button.
