Ah well, no post for a while...
    .

I just got a spanky new plug-in for fireworks.

The guitar and clouds are mine though.

    The water plug-in just rocks.

    Cheers

    Felt like posting.

Worked out quite well, i think. Was experimenting with thick/thin lines.

Only 30 day trial for the download though, if you want it longer you've got to get the cd.

Although they're photoshop plug-ins they'll work with fireworks aswell, though some results can be less than desirable. It all depends how self contained the plug-in is, some will only work with photoshop.

Laura That's looking really neat. What did you use draw it in?

    Cheers

ah. Hahah. Should have guessed really.?

I like the flared jeans. Very now.

Here's the flash version of the guitar which sadly didn't make it to the film in zoomable vector form as it turned the frame rate into a sluggy quagmire of gigantic proportions.

    [swf width="256" height="256" background="#006699"]http://www.btinternet.com/~sabbathcat/guitar.swf[/swf].

Ah, and here's the link to see the vectorised version in action, being played.

Up from the depths, 30 stories high...

Just wanted to pull this one back to the top and get more people posting their work - I'll start off with some drawing/paintings I've been doing in Painter on my Mac in my spare time (basically when I'm too lazy to be working on my projects, but still want to feel like I'm doing something artistic).

Let's see some more work, especially from new visitors!

I like it xup, your works really getting great of late.

Hey CNO, so that's all drawn digitally? Nicely done man.. Are they from photos of people characaturised or from you're imagination?

    Looking pretty darn spiffy anyway.

I saw them the other day and felt inspired to pick up a paintbrush again. They've been gathering dust for near on two years.

I couldn't find any canvas laying about except my old bag, so I thought I'd give it an overhaul.

It's still a work in progress, but at least with acrylic you can layer it up nicely without making the colours go all brown.

    Cheers
