    What's up Flashers?! I'm new to the Flash world but I have a couple of questions...

    1. How do you find the X,Y coordintates? I want to use buttons to navigate around a photo that I am using for wallpaper. I want specific buttons to goto specific locations on the wallpaper. Please help.

    2. Since this is probably an actionscripting question, are there any good books someone can recommend regarding action scripting?

    what's up.
    flash take the x,y co-ordinates from the page rulers. it always starts from top left. so you can find the co-ordinates from there, the are sequenced in the action as 'topleft,topright,botleft,botright' i think thats right if you have flash 5 check out the sample files in the help menue, get property has an example of the kind of action script you'll need.
