I was wondering what kind of interactivity is supportd with FLIX - is it about the same as the wired sprite interactivity available through quicktime? Could I overlay buttons in the movie which would would enable interaction? For example, if I had directional buttons withing the movie which would enable me to trigger different movies - such as pressing a button fwd and going fwd down a hall, etc.?

Flix supports all the interactivity of the Flash format. I suggest you check out our video jukebox demo on our website http://www.wildform.com. It has numerous controls (ff, rew, pause, volume with Flash 5) and a jukebox interface with multiple selections.
This is all possible because Flix outputs SWFs which you can use as you would any other SWF.
Flix also enables you to embed a link directly in the video.

    sync

what is the capability for syncing video links to a video?
is there any support for motion tracking?
I would love to see some examples of video hyperlinking rather than just start, stop, etc.

Currently Flix allows you to embed a single link in a single video. We have plans to add more functionality in this area. To create numerous linkable "hotspots" in a video, you will need to bring the swf video into Flash.
One of our users posted some links to video that has multiple links in it at this thread:

    Hope this helps.
