It says in the Newsgroup Welcome that FLIX works best with films less than 3 minutes, but it can work with longer films. I have a file that's currently in the VIVO plug-in format which I would like to re-do in FLIX. Here's the rub, it's 16 minutes in VIVO.
Can I break it into parts and trigger the downloading of the next part during the current one? If so, how would this really perform on a 56K modem during high-traffic periods?
Has anyone tried to make a longer FLIX piece than the 30 second-or-so films that are demo'd in the FLIX jukebox? Did it work well?
Thanks,
Rick

hmm
Well to answer your question dont expect to have much quality if you use a 56k modem on peak times.
but anyway you can brake the video into parts, however doing that with flix will be a bit tricky.
So i suggest you first get a programm to edit video formats i dunno which one to use for vivo (if there is none find one to convert vivo to avi).
Then break it into parts save them to disk and encode them with flix.
