I'm thinking about purchasing FLIX and I wanted to know whether the JukeBox smart clip can be altered for other uses without concern over copyrights. In other words, if I take the Jukebox and put another company's logo on it and otherwise change the appearance, it that OK?
Thanks,
Rick

emanon222 ~ Personal taste is perhaps the most subjective of personal perceptions. I believe that wyldstyle was referring to code behind the Jukebox that makes it function. And if you ask me, this is an impressive piece of work. Looks are completely irrelevant since you likely wouldn't want to be exactly like theirs anyway.
wyldstyle ~ The following is an exerpt from the documentation that comes with the Wildform Video Jukebox Smart Clip:
Notes:
- You may use this clip to create a standalone Flash video player, or use this clip in a larger Flash site.
- You may choose to remove or swap out any graphics from this player. If you do so, I highly recommend that you attempt to keep the size and spacing of the elements the same. While some changes may not affect player performance, others might, and so and changes to the UI are implemented at your own risk.
- In the Clip Parameters box, hitting <enter> will cause a list update, and hitting the <up> and <down> arrows will cause the list to scroll, if the scroll bar is visible.
- You may animate the clip with a motion tween, or ActionScript, just like any movie clip.
- Visit [url] http://www.wildform.com/tutorials for more information on the Load Movie command.
Take it easy
