button question

i was having a problem with a button containing a mc
i wanted the mc to finish playing in the down state
but couldnt achieve the effect i wanted
i wanted to just pass this idea on to you guys and see
if it sounded logical

if i just assign a go to next scene action on the button
and then let the mc play at the beginnig of the next scene
i think i think i should get the same effect that i wanted

i was just wondering if there is an easier way of getting this effect i would appreciate any feedback on this

Your MC is probably cutting off because of the goto command. Either way, you need to put the goto at the start and then play your MC, or you need to put your goto at the end of the MC so it will play out.
