As I further embark into my journey of learning Flash 5, I have come across some other applications which can put out Flash movies or files from whatever you generate within it's program.

I have already bought the Wildform SWfX program for text effects. Are there other programs that really help in creating Flash movies, websites, etc.? Are there some that are all bite and no bark?

Between the Flash program, and the books I have bought, I am already considered a second mortgage on the house, and really want to buy what's best and what will be the most beneficial.

    Thank again!

    Betty

swift 3d or 3d studio max for 3d stuff
photoshop or paint shop pro for graphics
swish, flax and/or wildform for text effects
a HTML text editor (many available- allthough notepad will do)
    and an
    an ftp client

that should get you started nicely..

Ok, looks like all I am missing is the 3D program, as I already bought Wildform, I own Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Illustrator, Fireworks and others for 2D stuff. For html, I have Dreamweaver and Homesite (although I uninstalled Dreamweaver, prefer homesite), and I also own cuteFtp.

I also have 2 domains, with a combined total of space of almost a gig, that I hope to fill up with all the Flash files I learn to do <knocking wood!>

    Thank You!
