Ok so I have some crazy idea to wanta take some DVD's apart for some back ground effects, and what I would like to know is does anyone know of any tried and true ways to get the DVD to a file type that I can get in to flash? I know of some rips that will convert from VOB-2-avi/mpg2. it is the bridging of the next gap that has me stumped?

This type of question really belongs in Flash General Help:

You'll get more answers that way. But to answer your question...
The next gap can be filled with Wildform Flix. It will convert avi and mpeg files into Flash. You can get for $99 at:

Hope this helps.

I don't think you're going to find software that takes what's on a DVD (which I don't even think is ever Flash) and can send it to Flash.
