Box behind the Keyframe

I'm new to Flash 5 and I just noticed that whenever I create a new keyframe, a white square appears in the frame right before it. And it's really annoying because in Flash 4, I used to be able to drag my keyframes across the timeline, but in Flash 5...that stupid square gets dragged instead of the keyframe. What's that square for anyway?

hehehe ...i had the same problem , but do this

in flash go .. EDIT > Preferences in the General Tab

u will see some options under Time Line Options Checkout these :

Flash 4 Slection Style
Flash 4 Frame Drawing

and there !! your sweet'ol... Flash 4 is back!!! with the Flash 5 technology!!
