I haven't read thru all the messages so please excuse me if this is a repeat.

1) Please, no subscription. It would be less than convenient for overseas members (conversion, etc).

2) A Flash site would be cool-if it could be done without lag, large SWF size etc. In the interim a Flash/HTML hybrid seems like a better idea (e.g. an HTML document loaded inside a Flash file for quicker updates)

3) Revenue ideas:
a) A store or affiliation with online stores like Amazon.
b) An area where FK members can pay a fee for some samples of their work and some exposure-in essence an online portfolio. Companies looking for staff can go to that area, look at work samples and eventually hire. Both sides would pay a commission to FK for use of the service or for every person hired.

4) More search filters, especially rating filters, would be nice. Download numbers as well.
