I've been given a 9MB Flash file that I need to embed in a web page. I know this is huge but I have very little control over it. The movie will always run locally. The problem is that when we load it on laptops, it gets about halfway through and stops playing. Does anyone know if this is due to the large file size or if it could be a different problem?

Personally I'd blame it on the large file size, depending on the size of the hard drive, if you have more than enough room on the hard drive like say about 100 megs or more then it should run fine, and if it doesn't then I'd say you have a different problem.
This is just my opinion I could be wrong, it could have something to do with the screen, try running it on a flat screen if you can, it could just be the screen, not the computer.

it might have something to do with the computers cache 9 mg is pretty dang big your asking alot of that
