I'm 22. I got a full-time Flash job three months after learning it. It was my first "real" job after doing a philosophy degree and then a programming course.
I feel I was pretty lucky to find somewhere to work with so little experience--a classmate knew someone starting a multimedia company (www.monkeymedia.net) in his basement suite. I got laid off five months later, but I had gained tonnes more Flash skills and a great portfolio, which allowed me to get into a bigger company.

Hi ya
am 25 and for a while I thought me and Nadine were the only females .... It's true there aren't any women in the industry but more and more are getting into web design and most come from a graphics background. Where I work at the moment, I am the only female in the team, so I'm sort of used to it
Nothing like going to the pub with the lads every Friday night Mmmmmm Smashing!!!!

I am a 33 year old Male, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Been using Flash for a while now.
Wrote Sluggy.Fla, which seems to have been well received, and a few other open source movies.
I am a multimedia programmer by trade, which is definatly a cool job to have, and have been programming since the age of 13. Also dabble in a bit of Artwork, and write 3D Simulators for Museums and the like.
Cheers

Boy, does reading this thread make me feel an old 35. I was writing programs and playing with computers before many of you started school. Now that is frightening - for me anyway
