well this is my personal site http://www.levelthirteen.com
and i have been working on and updating it for about 2 months now (with my new layout and objective). it is a purely personal site that is a way to keep my creative juices flowin'.

although i am new to flashkit, i have gotten some key help here. most of the help i have received has been from were-here staff and members. some big shouts out to webstyles, wu-tang, bonz, innovativefx, lithium, as well as countless others. thanks everyone

    wow

After a very fast look, I´d say it´s beautiful, and as a graphic designer i can´t get enough of that limited color scale! thumbs up for´that. works like a charm. the dotted map also looks nice, although it´s a bit worn out maybe...

I´d suggest you make a preloader for your site, though! It loads bit by bit now, and it seems distracting... or is that the intention? I think not.

But keep up he good work!

ps. loved that vinyl player too. nice!!!

That record player is awesome. Nice touch! I'm all about simplicity and this site has it. I love the design and the map nav is very unique.

    Keep it up!

hey thanks for the kind words

lovestreet: I took your advice and added a preload. i actually was going to put one in but i just kept forgeting about it so thanks for the reminder

as far as the map, i understand what you are saying about the dots being worn out, but i had been working on a new look for a good 6 months (i scrapped about ten other layouts) and the idea behind it was just what sdo pointed out, a "unique" nav system that i, personally have never seen used (not to say that it hasn't been used though considering there are about a billion sites out there )

anyway, glad you both liked it. check back 'cause i try and add a new design at least once a week (sometimes even up to 4 a week) just depends on the amount of time and the amount of creativity i am feeling.

    thanks again.

I liked it very much are you just going to have base music on your site or a variance that may appeal to more people?

Your site is very unique. I did enjoy the map and give you two thumbs up.

Great site. I enjoyed the parking ticket.
Minimal is something I truly enjoy.

Good luck with those creative juices to keep the site updated.

    one last thing to ask

i just reconfigured my navigation, and now when you are in a section it runs about 100 times smoother, however is it too fast? i have my frame rate set at 100 fps and like the effect it gives to most of the designs, but some like the video sequences move a little too fast. What would you all suggest on frame rate?

    thanks in adv.
