i won't deny theres some intense flashing going on

    but aesthetically? I don't know, I can't figure out what u guys see in it...i mean..it's ugly!

there isn't even a site!!! just a trailer!!

and the trailer didn't even make sense to me!

what the hell was it about?!?!

    it's too much, ya know?

In your face, we are the best, the future of the internet blah blah blah. the thing you've heard from every other company and 12 year old wannabe out there. (myself included )

my 2 cents, no one should take offence. just an opinion.

ok nothing evolutionary but some of those transitions and motion effects are sweet as sugar.

i have to agree with karnak and squink, and agtarr (LOL!)

it's 2.3megs for gawdsake, how much of that do you really think is tweening??? This should be in quicktime!!

overblown and meaningless, obviously they know what they're doing but it's empty and pointless.

much much better stuff out there.

There's no doubt derbauer have always managed to create some stunning eye candy but the fact remains that their graphic design skills suck!...and 2.3 mb on the web?? They're talented but I'm not sure they understand the concept of flash and the internet...

It's okay but I'd much rather explore a well designed site like http://www.dennisinter.com than watch another "we're the future of the internet...blah blah blah" trailer.

    well...

... the effects are nice, but that«s no flash. The fact is, they are not designer, they are softimage operators, that«s why they make a lot of graphic and design mistakes. In a tutorial level of "Softimage" you can do very easily this effects. Anyway, they are sincere, and say "this is not internet, this is entertainment". They are right, they didn«t understand where they are, internet means compression too, that«s the right technique. For a site without a clean concept and layout, is a little arrogant to give the message "we are the best, the other are nothing". They can loose some friends this way. And i don«t see a lot of works for clients of them... Anyway, i must say, i like this effects! (By the way, the music and sounds are better in the concept as the graphical part).

I have to say this site or lack thereof is a huge dissapointment. The effects are not even as well made as the original derbauer. Ohh and what happened to "The Portal", that had some huge potential and it is nowhere to be found. It seems like they took 10 steps backwards.

Well I was expecting something incredible, and that wasn't it. After viewing the huge trailer, I wanted to get into their mainsite, but all I could do was contact them. The other part said Status 0%. Whatever that means. I liked the shaking doors a lot better. Their latest work isn't going to keep 20+ million visitors happy. I don't think they have any other clients. I think it's just two german dudes who get together on the weekends and import huge graphic and sound files into flash and try to make a movie out of it. Ah well...it was worth seeing...but they can do better. Those flame effects were really kewl though.

    bist du ausgetraeumt?

"could you tell which way is the best to get
an animation from adobe after effects into flash
as an avi the file is much to big" (from ausgetraeumt)

You have problems with the compression (as derbauer), you are coming from germany, you know every site from derbauer, you have posted only two times in flashkit, and you have (as the thread starter) no own homepage. Does derbauer post his own site as "cool site"? Do you need this? With 20 millions visitors?
