Thread: D-loaded Fonts...In Windows/Fonts Directory?

    Okay stupid question probably,but the fonts I've d-loaded
    from here or other sites,...I assumed that I place them in
    the Windows/Fonts folder where all the fonts that Flash 5
    lists when you use the text tool are stored.But when I did
    that they didn't show up there and weren't in the Windows/
    Fonts directory.So basically after I d-load the zip files,
    where should they be extracted to in order to make them
    useable? DO they have to be individually imported into the
    .fla you want them in? Thanks in advance...

    someimes you jsut need to refresh your computer with the new fonts, you can do this 2 ways.

    1. restart your computer

    2. just use my computer to view the c:/windows/fotns directory and double click the fonts you downloaded.
    ---if u use this method you have to close flash and open it again

    there, either of those should do the trick!
