I was wondering whether there are any tips with regard to which Font is best to use in Flash. I am having problems in that when anti-aliased the font is blurry and often difficult to read which makes it impractical and unprofessional. Your help would be appreciated

has fonts specifically for flash which, if you follow the instructions in the readme file, won't anti-alias.

Try using the font "Verdana" - it usually works well.
