I need a most wonderful 3-d program. Is it worth 139.00?
I know this is the swift forum, and many of you are loyal, but I need honest opinions of this program!

The export to swf makes it that much better then the rest, but..... I have COOL 3-D, it works really good, but has it's limitations.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

swift 3d has the best swf output, but as a modeling program, it is limited. you only have a sphere, cone, cylinder, torus (donut), and text as your primitives. you can however make a cube with the font wingdings. you can import 3ds files which means that you can get advanced models, and you can also import AI and EPS files to "extrude".

I think it is a nifty program and necessary in a solid flash bundle, but there are better programs. the swf output is still the best though.

it's a solid program and worth the cash. modeling contraints are it's biggest weakness, but i have still been able to use elements made in swift in many of my pieces. i'm not sure when v 2.0 will be out, but if you hold off purchasing it for any reason it should be that. if you have the cash, get it now...

Thanks guys, I guess like everything else, it's a gamble. Well, I hope I don't "crap" out on seven! I bought it. I'll just have to see if it was worth it!

Actually, you don't 'crap out', you 'seven out' (the correct casino term). Craps is 2 or 12 on the come-out roll.

Every product has its plusses and minuses. For production use, I've found Swift's plusses far outweight the minuses. I think you will find their customer support to be more helpful than most companies.

Unlike the casino, E-Rain offers you a 30-day money-back guarantee. Better odds than an 8-point, 5X on the line bet, and place bet on the 6.

    good luck!
