OK ive read enough reply's =)

My swish wish would be to have somthing like actions like photoshop does were users create text effects or photo effects etc.. into actions then you can easily import them into photoshop and the effect can be done, swish should have something like that. Also have a break apart text, Line tool, and some more cool effects =)

when you export your movie there should be a box you can check so that it adds the files to convert your movie to anyones screen size.

something i would like to see is a copy/paste attributes, the ability to play just 1 scene, the ability to have multiple swish sessions up, also the ability to move multiple objects at the same time. Thats all i have for now.

thought of something else, when you insert an image, you are able to see the image you insert, instead of seeing it only when you play your movie.

Re: netstore1's post, my thought was a bit different to
facilitate file size optimization (reduction a la Velez),
and yet provide us with greater design process flexibility
at the point of creation.

Either a HOT KEY TOGGLE or control panel selection type
vehicle to autochange the vector content at the push of
a button to at least 3 "preset" (and modifiable screen
sizes)...like 640x480, 800x600 & 1024x768...DURING THE
DESIGN PROCESSES...not just at export.

This would enable us to:

1. View optimized/compacted ultimate movie size text
placements at the push of a button, but without
having to use a magnifying glass to read the very
small text which can result from trying to design
at 300x 200 (etc.) for LARGER screen viewing.

2. Enable us to substitute a larger non-vector
image during screen "blow up" to check final
appearance, although a smaller size version is
used in the scaled down movie file size original.

This would expedite design in that we would not have to
continually save an .swf and then go look at it in a
separate browser or additional software programs to see
what it will look like at different resolutions.

Velez's discovery that files can be produced in much smaller
sizes has opened up new Horizons for smaller .swf's, and
yet, when using small text fonts, it's difficult do very
accurate drag & drop & alignment.

believe me, i know exactly where you're coming from and that would be a true heaven sent option. i am so sick of rebuilding it's not even funny. when you're all done - (so you think anyway, and the last second boom, another idea or change strikes ya. yep that would definately be a feature that would be of great importance.


another option i would like to see - is an option where you could open a swf, people sometimes do forget to save the swi, i know have and i know i'm not the only one.


and finally another major must have - animated gif support, man the frame thing is too much. say you want a certain animation only to find out that when you open up the animation you find that there is a lot of frames. it's so aggrivating not being able to use an animated gif, they would make the movies look a whole lot nicer.

I'm sorry, this may have been mentioned, but it would be nice to able to select a relative link from a local drive . . .As in DreamWeaver3 . . . select it as relative to root or document, and it will work in IE and Netscape, instead of having to type in either the full local drive URL or the HTTP address, make sense?

I'm not sure what you mean by this?????
You can already type more than one line in any text object. You do it just like you do in word or any other text editor, hit enter at the end of each of your lines.

How about the ability to select multiple elements on your timeline? Grouping would be nice too. That way if you need to move 3 or 4 effects on the time line you could do it at one time instead of piecemeal!!!

okay, i tried that, so either my swish version is a screwy version or i just am not doing it right. what i did was type something and try to hit return and it doesnt return and jump down a line. if u gotta fix or somthing let me know.

Give swish the ability to publish/export files as html so I dont have to do a frame by frame in flash and post smaller intros on my websites.

my wish is...

to be able to import flash movies into swish
cross-compatability...
and as many new effects as it can hold lol
and equal effects on images,
and a new feature so i only have to ftp one file, saving time. more fonts, more font-fills , a hot blonde bombshell,
a free million bucks and a holliday house at a ski-resourt with a fireplace not to mention the ferrari testarossa perked outside purring.

emm i think i forgot something...ah well

I just can't wait till you release a beta version. I saw a screenshot of the following version and was impressed.

The only thing i would like to be added is the ability to edit the presets that are included.

For example. Add more sub-options to preset animations like " vortex" So I can edit them a little bit more. I just love changing the values..

SWiSH2 has WYSIWYG editing. You can see your images both while playing and editing. You can also see (small) thumbnail icons of your imags in the scene tree and timeline.
