    Hi!
I realized that using the text option 'use device fonts' makes the font look much clearer and sharper. But I am a bit worried, that this might lead to different appearance of the site on different machines.
On the other hand - as I am using only a very common font on the site (Verdana) it might be a good idea to use the 'use device fonts' text option?
Please let me know what are your experiences with this kind of thing.
    Thanx!

I wouldn't say never use device fonts. It depends on if it's a dynamic/input or a static text field. There is a solution to everyone viewing your font, regardless of whether it's installed on their machine, embedding fonts: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/qu...bedding_fonts/ you may even choose the anti-alias type you'd like. Or if you don't want to go that far, you can use character embedding. Hope this helps!
