Hey Brettski! LOL thats terrible!
On the difference from font to font! Yeah, it can make a big difference!
I never paid attention to the color? I'll have to look into that.
On the fonts...the squarer the font & the less curves it has, the smaller the size!...It has to do with the whole pixel/polygon thing! Thats about as technical as I can get on that!
I bet Flick could give us a good explanation though!
Looks like I'm going to have some work posting all of these pretty soon!

Hope you don't close down the competition without my entry!! A little thing work got in the way. I just want to make sure I understand is it 5K in size, or 5K in hours to create?

Everyone's done a great job so far; well, maybe one or two exceptions!

So are we going to vote at the end for the best one??? Who's donating the prize?

Balla, just put your entry in, its all about participation. I think Ziggy might assemble em all on his new domain and he has some details on another competition thats coming up, if its prizes your after.

I found out that gif images are smaller than text by the way. I used the smiley font first and could not stay under the 5k....but when I made the font a gif image it got it under the 5k guidelines.
