I have an .exe on a cd. I am loading .swf's into it, but need to know if the user has flash 5 installed before doing so. Or don't I? Does anybody know how to detect if a user has flash 5 from a projector? I appreciate all your replies.
    Thank you.

If you publish your flash file as an *.exe, you donot need to detect anything. The Flash standalone is exactly that... it doesnt require flash to play on a computer

What if I am loading external .swf's. Don't I need to check for Flash? Does the initial .exe take care of that? That would be sweet.

    Thanks for your reply!!!

The EXE is the stand-alone player. If that runs (and it should) then you can load all the SWF files you like.
