I like some of your choices there, Hayden Foxe is a gun player that not many people would know about.

Ruud is a risk but at such a low price, I had to go for him too! Same goes for Viera, how could they rate him so lowly????

Personally I think Beckham was severely overrated there, I believe there are much better buys available.

I figured Foxe would have to play a lot due to work permit criteria. He's a tidy enough player but he's quite cheap so he's in! Ruud Van Nistelrooy looks like he may be the runaway top scorer this year, he looks very sharp. I had my doubts but I've changed my mind.

Viera is class, I think his value will go up, he's the new vice captain at Arsenal so it's not like he's getting dropped (as if he would..) Beckham was runaway points scorer in the fantasy football league I was in last season because of the number of crosses he puts in leading to goals. Value for money..he's not injury prone either..

No copying thank you very much. I've got an interesting story for you. Jono Greening who has just signed for Middlesbrough used to play for Man U, and before that he played for York City....... and before that he used to play for a couple of our rival teams as schoolboys from the ages of 9 until 16 when we left.

He used to play for two schools in Scarborough, St Peters (primary) and St Augustines (secondary), I used to play for Friarage and Raincliffe against him.

He was definately their best player, but the only problem was he played as a forward and then there was me playing in defence. So he used to run rings around most of us, his actual teams were rubbish, just he was really good.

Anyway one time he had got past me and was running straight into the edge of the penalty box with only the keeper to beat, I was right behind him but had no chance of getting the ball off him. So for some strange reason I thought "right, I'm going to take him down" SNAP went his legs as a booted them as hard as I could............. and they didn't even get a penalty. Golly gosh I laughed!!!

PLEASE NOTE: No current premiership footballers were harmed (permanently)

I went for Van Nistelrooy because he scores ridiculous amounts of goals, but I saw today on http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/hi/engli...00/1490728.stm that Viera was thinking of leaving Arsenal, otherwise I think he may have been a good choice. He'll probably go.

Obviously Ruud's health is an issue, Viera's temperament and I think Wiltord is probably the one I am not so sure about at the moment, there is definetely potential there for him to score regularly, but also set up others (namely Henry) as well.

Do you think it's going to be a straight fight between Arsenal and Manu again this season though? Leeds and Liverpool now reckon they're big clubs as well..might be an interesting season ahead.
