    Hey!

I am trying to achieve a clean font type throughtout my movie

So I can set it to either _sans or dynamic text. fine. did that.

why does it sometimes work and others doesn't? half of my movie is set to dynamic text the other to _sans, am i doing something wrong, do the blox of text have to be on separate layers, not allowed to be in groups?

I'd really rather use _sans since dynamic makes your file size larger

    thx. in advance.

right .... if you mean non-antialised type these are the rules:

Use dynamic text boxes for everything, and use either very common fonts or the system fonts (_sans etc)

    Don't embed the fonts

Don't use and static text with the same font, this will cause partial embedding and make the dynamic boxes in the same font disappear.

    HOWEVER!

You won't be able to use transformation, masking, or alpha effects on the dynamic text boxes unless you embed the fonts ... and that will cause the text to anti-alias.

Well the main thing is that if the text is becoming too blurry when you make it small, then it's too small!

There is a current fashion for pixel fonts and loads of small non-antialised fonts ... but from a legibility and usability point of view they aren't that good.
