I have finally finished the site for our design group: EYENOVATION.

It has been a long time in the making.

We could really use some feedback here for the site.

The site was designed for potential clients to see our work in a VERY simple way. We wanted to convey our technology capabilities, but not in a sense that would intimidate the mildest of clients. Though people are often impressed with 2A style stuff (as are we), we wanted to the make the site very easy to navigate, very easy to understand, and over all - very minimal in terms of style.

We went for a white space type of design, including clean typography, in hopes it would be very content conscious.

That being said - your feedback will let us know if we have achieved our goals.

We appreciate your comments and suggestions and would love even more (especially if there are any bugs you find that we did not) if you offered your computer and connection specs. Being a media group, we obviously aim to cater to everyone.

very nice site, i loved the overall feel of it, I selected music and noted it turned off the song, then i clicked on music it still remained off. just accidently shut it off.

the white background with your photos and links work great, very nicely done, the blending of your sites in your portfolio is really neat.

very nice simple and professional.

You are not the first person who has told me about the music. I guess I figured if anything, people would turn the music off and not want it back on.

I will make that into a music on / off switch..

the site is nice....i mean good use of flash...i dont think that getting in to too much technical gizmos about the application is the right idea, infact the IDEA in your head has to be cool, and then only the sophistication of tools comes into question...I think i have done the smae too for my site... http://www.geocities.com/nitinbud/splash.htm check it if u like!

Thanks for the comments.. I am glad you agree with my style. I have seen your site when you posted it and LOVED the red design. Absolutely simple - yet SUPER effective.

The image of the guy (ME) is a BMP image with Flash 4.0 compression at 70 on the scale.

I held my digital camera in front of my face and got an okay shot..

nice and clean. one suggestion would be trying to use device fonts, like _sans, which would make it cleaner looking.

Are you referring to the menu portion? Or.. the actual text. As is, the font I used is Arial. Is there a way I can make it SHARPER?

I would love to. Frankly, I hate the way Flash handles text.

How did u structure the new window where all the information is in?

I noticed that the window is devided in two parts where the menu goes only up and down.

Could u reveal that trick?

try removing anti-alias from the text if it's small.

I'm not sure how to shut down the anti-aliasing the traditional way, but I tend to just choose a dynamic text field and type in the text I want. There's no need to enter a variable unless you want to go that route.

Over all, great site! There is one thing, but it's just a preference: when accessing the Contact section, have you consider using a PHP mail form rather than the mailto: option? Some people out there don't use outlook or outlookXPRESS, and don't set up their default mail service. Also, some people would rather use an email account that is more anonymous than their default home account (perhaps their business addy). using a mail form would allow prospective clients to enter in the email address where a reply should be sent. Just an idea. Great site.

hey, chris its jon! I still think that you need to have the swf files load into the main one and have a diff looking nav. the concept is great but the execution could of been better.. i haven't gotten around to making a .fla for loadmovie .. if you want you can email me the fla and ill make the appropriate adjustments and give you some instructions n'stuff , and make the text sharper.

interesting clean site, its fresh but one think
your dragable menu, i dont know if you did on
purpose or not, but it drags of the left side
of screen, you should have your cordinates line up to the left side, it may look like a mistake to some people.
Other than that, looks cool. Your music could
use a little flavour or more spice (more sounds), just
a suggestion, dont have to use it.

not bad. just one thing though about your page titles of the actual HTML pages. On the first page the title is in higher case and the pop up windows are in lower case. Would it not look better with them both in upper or lower?
