Dear Flasgkit members,
was that a very complicated question? Nobody has an advice or a hint what to do?
I know that many Flashkitters are non-US residents!
Thank you

mikaelian,
I was just about to go online, search in Yahoo for a US bank, call them and then ask if a non-US citizen could register an account with them...
...and then I said to myself, "If I can do this research, so can he!"
That's why I haven't responded with an answer. I suggest you call one up and ask.
Regards,
Jabez

I have contacted a few US banks asking of info. They, however, keep talking of a social security number, etc.
If you find relevent intro, >>>PLEASE<<< don't forget to post it here. Thank you very much in advance.
I, too, will post here the info I find.
So far I have found a company that promises to help to open an account. But their service is not free. They ask $360 for their efforts...
Thank you for further infos...

Dear KATFinancial,
I visited the site. Are you sure they open on-line accounts for non-US residents (so for the people without a social security number), too?
Thank you very much in advance.

Some banks will do it without your social security number. But why do you need a US bank account. International transfers only cost about 20 dollars each.

Right question!
20 dollars are not a problem. However, many of my US clients have very very little understanding HOW to make an international transfer. So for them it is a much simpler solution to find another flashmaker (with a US account number) rather than to deal with me and to have problems with banks...
So if sombody has relevant information on how to open a US account from abroad, I would be very much obliged for info.
Thank you.
