anime art request

I was just wondering if anybody out there actually draws anime, or know a good place to find some great anime style artwork. Not trying to steal ideas, but basically, I want to draw out an anime style character, and being traditionally trained (and so 'out of shape' drawing freehand - man, computers have sapped my skill!) is actually working AGAINST me - meaning that I can not get the proportions right (you know, big eyes, shorter torsos, what not)...

if I could either find a good reference or person... I would be so thankful... thanks in advance for any replies.

Probably the absolute best "how to draw Anime" site I've come across (and I've seen a few...) is Patrick Shettleworth's Polykarbon site at http://www.polykarbon.com/ It's amazing! Hope this helps.
