Idea for A&A based animated short..

Hey, I just had a thought.. This may not work but here goes.

Since there's a fairly regular bunch here, I was thinking of doing a little animation with them..

I don't have a script yet, but if anyone's got any idea's, I'm open..

I'd like to do something for the old FK parody section in the arcade that's been pretty quiet of late.

I don't know if anyone's seen my movies, but basically, all I need is a photo/characature and possibly a voice or two.

Ah well, let me know if this is a good idea or not, and I'll work it into something a bitmore solid..

First things first, is a need for an plot.

I was thinking of a cafe scene with people generally stading around chatting, just as a vehicle to include the voices of the A&A denizens..

Hmm.. I saw the pic you have, and I had this idea.

Maybe you can make that alley scene a place where all the FK Anime Crew hangout (and they're the graffiti artists in that alley)

They can spew out their random thoughts as graffitti on the walls or something..

Hey, I was thinking, pehaps a classroom scene would be cool..?

That way everyone would get a one liner..

I wanted to get as many voices as possible, it's just trying to figure out a script idea that'll work.

Hmmm. Then again, the random thoughts thing could work, for example, everyone takes it in turns to spray over the previous persons one-line tag "thought" or something.

AH well, more ideas please..! If we can get a decent script together with a few people who are willing to do a bit of voice work, I can hopefully finish this by the end of October..

It'd be great to get something A&A based up there in the movies section..

Hmmm. Ah well, I'd better get to bed, the coffee's wearing off..

Anyway --> !!!!! I've had a flash of inspiration based on a thread I was reading in the coffee lounge combined with an idea that cropped up a while back (either here or the coffee lounge)!

I was thinking, rather than try and come up with a script by myself, I was thinking, as a concept, doing some kind of Flash date booth or something.

Basically, ( I don't know if many people have watched the program) along the lines of dial-a-date ( Late night dating show on ITV here in UK), where singles would get into a makeshift studio in the back of a van and record a little speech about who they are and what they're after.

Does anyone remember the "Flash dates" thread that was floating about in here or the coffee lounge a while back..?
I was thinking of something along the lines of that. Eg: "Loneley flasher seeks nights in with smooth tweens and well optimised curves".. Or something like that.

I dunno, it depends how many "lines" people can come up with, but it would make it easier on people to record what they like as they're not having to stick to any script.

What does everyone think...?

If you've got an idea, post a wav with a pic/image and I'll get onto making up a characature and lip-synced clip to it..

If people want to do their own, that's cool, if not, I can sit an line up lips all day.

Hopefully with abotu 5-10 finished "clips", I can compile them into one film and post it into the movies section as a brand new spanky FK realted movie bit. (Everyone involved will be credited of course.. )

Ah well, I'm off to bed, I'm slipping into the wrong time-zone here..

I was thinking, as a guideline, it's really doesn't need to be any longer than 5 seconds. Possibly less..

So basically, all I need is a photo/characature and 5 seconds of speech, on anything..

I dunno, some possible idea are:

Talking about favourite anime/manga characters.
Talking about a day in the life of yourself.
Talking about any subject you're passionate about..

It just has to be A&A related in some way.

5 seconds is a fair bit of time, but as a guide you could pretty much get out 4 lines on here as rough amount, so there's not much that's needed..

I'll do one myself and see if that inspires people a bit.
