Site check (i'm new with swish this is my first site)

I heard of swish and directly i dowloaded it.
This is my first time using swish. Please
tell me what you think of my website.

It seems pretty good, yet I'm not quite sure what each button does, as it is not in English. Looks like a good start for you first design. Keep up the good work! Peace.

and welcome to the Swish Site Check Forum.

Your site suffersfrom what we all did when we first got Swish, you have overused the effects. Just becuase Swish can do numerous text effects does not mean that you have to use them all. Less is often more.

Fade ins and slide ins can be much more subtle, but still interesting to look at, than wave or explode. see this test site for example

http://www.swishportal.com/dihc (first page only done) lots of fading but it does not look overdone (I hope) The top graphioc and the green area (I assume will be used for text) look fine, the menu on the left is also good. The rest is simply too much, I think.

Self I think it pretty good for a new starter like me. But my menu works not right. If click on one link in mine menu and I click another link, this last link can't you see after you closed the first link. Anybody suggestions?
