ok - well a couple of things that imediately came to mind.

    1. The words at the begining are "smallish" in size.
    2. Pictures are great, but put more than 2 or 3. Also maybe have some subtitles that explain what you do and why your product is the BETTER way to go.

I am working on a new intro as well - take a look and see if MY message is getting across..

    Its lovely

Unlike Vac I think keep your intro as text based and simple as possible... helps loading

I love your site, your bit of Gallery humour and the sheer quality of the work
One concern only...how do you intend to protect those images or dont you mind that they will be "right clicked" like crazy.
Congratulations on the site and its simplicity and also to the photograher.
    Neat little menu as well.

I am currently working on a totaly flash site so that the images are contained within the swf so they cannot be used elswhere. The intro is part of the new site that I decided to add to the existing site. The new site is proving to be a bit complex and I have 12 layers so far (It was started in swish 1.5 with v2 I may be able to simplify that).

Well unfortunately embeding the images in your .swf will not protect them from someone who wants them as they can be easily "ripped" out of the .swf using SWFScanner or other similar programs. You could put a watermark in them to at least prove that they are yours.

Re Vacmans answer, unfortunate as it is, nothing will protect your images once published on the web.
The watermark idea is a good one, however no matter what anyone, including Macromedia say, your content is available to whoever wants it.
Having said that I read a neat article on this matter where the writer put the point that those that steal images wont get rich doing it, most likely will get caught out (its happened here with posted sites) and it just has to be accepted as a price of advertising. He also said that it pays to reduce the image quality as much as YOU can tolerate for the look of your site and to add a watermark just to put off the casual "lifters"...why give em top quality images

I know nothing is going to stop determined people steeling images, all they need to do at the end of the day is take a screenshot and crop it but pouting it in a swf file will prevent your avearge surfer from taking them. But at the end of the day they are only lo res images of limited use.
